VODACOM ARE RIPPING OF PEOPLE AND CARELESS.
Hi. Please could some one assist me. I am having challenges with Vodacom for the past one year. I have been overcharged for Data usuage and Vodacom insisted they I have used the sum they charged me without showing proof. My contract was on month to month basis. I was called up by the vodacom accounts and asked to pay an an amount of R7800. I still refused but since they had handed my account over to bad debts and being a business women, I decided to pay that amount. On visiting one of Vodacom branches to do payment, I was shocked to find that the amount they now was claiming was R16000. My instalment per month was R469 My contract was for 24 months. Adding the monthly instalments as well as the amount that they were claiming for extra data, it still does not add up to R16000. I have spoken to a number of consultants, and only one consultant agreed after checking that the amount was wrong. She asked me to wait for 7 days for feedback from the relevant department to rectify. She was continously updating me, almost every second day but after 7 days, I never heard from her. On phoning and asking to speak to her, the consultant advised me that she was der but refused to hand over phone to her. He insisted he can help but was just as bad. I picked up numbers from people on Hello Peter. Emailed them, they called, and usual we discussed same old story, but never responded to any of mail forwarded. I wanted all discussions via email for record purposes and informed the consultant as well. Last email sent 10 days ago. No response. If any one can help will be greatly appreciated.
