Vodacom are good at ripping you off

i tried ot cancel my fibre with vodacom , and its the first so I am giving them a month notice, to my great surprise , they will cancel, at the end of the NEXT month, so I have to pay for 2 months is this legal i waited for the first , to give one month notice
