Vodacom are a nightmare
Sim swap done Monday 02 November 2020 due to theft of device. Friday 06 November suddenly 'no service' Phoned help line (call reference: A2-KC9U-V82XC), established on second call that Sim swap 'failed'. Since then I have phoned another 3 times with promises that they will phone me back on my landline and that it will only take 24 hours. We are now getting close to 72 hours later and I still have no service on my phone. This is unacceptable.

10 Nov 2020, 17:30I now wish to compliment Siphumelele on the customer care line. She was the ONLY person who took the trouble to follow up, getting to the bottom of the problem and phoning me back a few times. She went the extra mile. I cannot, however, say the same for Ulishapo at the Liberty Mall branch of Vodacom/Vodacare, whatever it's called. The whole problem arose because she BLACKLISTED this brand new telephone. Blacklisted it some three or four days after it was provided as a replacement for the ****** phone that should have been blacklisted. Honestly, you couldn't make it up. Siphumelele should be promoted and Ulishapo should be fired.
