Vodacom are a bunch of *******

I have a sim card I use in a 3G device for when I go on holiday. Yesterday I added 1GB of data at a cost of R150 to the number however had issues with the data loading and the 3G card would not work. I call the call centre this morning. First of all you spend 10 minutes listening to the voice recording and eventually I figure out that 'do you want to chat' means 'do you want to speak to a concultant?" This person is not my friend. Why in the world would i want to chat to them. I certainly want to speak to a consultant but not chat? How stupid is that? I eventually get through to somebody and the ladies says that the number that I bought the data on is not my number. How can this be? So I go through my handbag and finally find the piece of paper the guy at the shop wrote the number on to double check that I have the right number so I call again. Another 10 minutes listening to the stupid voice recording. Get through to another lady that would not assist me if I do not pronounce her name right. How can this be? So I explain the whole story again and am told that vodacom recycles the number after 6 months of no use. I don't recall the sales person telling me this? and I certainly did not see a big warning on the sim card papers that the number is recycled after 6 months of no use. Anyway the second assistant put me on hold and all of a sudden the call goes through to the rating recordings so she put the phone down on me. Call a third time again only to be told this time around that I can not get my money back. How is that possible? Vodacom does not tell their customers when they sell the sim cards that the numbers are recycled after 6 months and does not assist you when they do recycle the number and you spent money on this number? Vodacom you are a bunch of *******!
