Vodacom are *******

In May 2024 a Vodacom representative called me saying that they could help me save money on my current contract, so who wouldn't accept the updated deal, they stated the monthly price would be lower.

Fastforward to June and I'm checking my statements, because they said it will only update the following month, I see the price is R150 more than usual.

At this point I think okay, it's not a train smash, I'll call Vodacom and get this sorted out. But basically it hasn't been sorted out, I tried for 3 months to get my refund because this is not what I signed up for but each time I called I ended up having to re-explain the situation every single time and to top it all off, every single agent I spoke to said they would follow up and call me in X days, it's been a year now, not 1 of them called me back. They ****** me of my money and got away with it due to their ****ty customer experience. What am I supposed to do now? Imagine all the other customers they've ****** and got away with? Honestly I spent my valuable time trying to convince these ******* to return my money, but they've tired me out. Why is customer experience so ****ty in this country?

Reviewer Update
This was sorted out a few days after the review, at least they eventually sorted it out. I got what I asked for, so at least there is someone who cares about PR at vodacom.
