Vodacom appointments mean nothing.

I have a fibre to home package with Vodacom. My router stopped working so I went through the process of calling the fibre line doing all the resets and then eventually getting to the point where they realised there is a problem with my router. I then received an email to book an appointment for a Vodacom technician to come out and sort it out. I received email and sms confirming the appointment however on the actual day, no one pitched. I received no info from Vodacom. I called the help lines and received no help. No one could tell me whether the technician was on his way or whether I was still scheduled for the day. It seems customer service is not a high priority with companies like this. No one cares to keep you informed of what’s happening.
