Vodacom Apple Watch Cellular connection issue

Apple Watch Cellular - my previous phone with Vodacom was working fine with my Apple Watch cellular version. I recently upgraded my contact on the basis that my watch would still work without my phone. It has been 3 months of calls to Vodacom and the stores. No one knows how to activate my Vodacom one number. On mobile data it sits on Vodacom waiting. I am so frustrated about this as it is imperative that my watch cellular works as intended.
