Vodacom - Appalling service and poor systems

Don't you just love Vodacom, and the 'new normal' of doing everything by phone? I was phoned by Vodacom, offering me an upgrade of my fibre if I switched to them. I went into it and agreed to go ahead. I was then contacted by OpenServe. I confirmed with them that switch over date is 30 September - they assured me that they would install 3 days before. I then cancelled my service with my current provider. Then nothing. I phoned the business line today, 29 September and got a real run around. They can't find the order, for a while couldn't even find my account. Now they are issuing a ticket which, supposedly, OpenServe will react to. Chances of me having no fibre in 2 days time? Very high. The only email I've received is from a no-reply address and the reference number can't be recognised by the 'support agent' I have been speaking to for the past 40 minutes. Why can't Vodacom communicate effectively by email so there is a record and a reference number, at least a contact person and numbber to phone.
