Vodacom and Vodacom Insurance non binding contacts and repudiated claim

Dear Messrs, Vodacom and Vodacom Insurance

Kindly please assist me with Vodacom insurance who refuses to assist in a proper manner, whereby I today lost my temper and made the decision to contact the Ombudsman.

Attached hereto the following:

1. Manual black list form – Vodacom had issues blacklisting both Emei Numbers of the phone, 2. My claim form with both the itc number as requested, 3. Annex A: Faulty terms and conditions documentation from Vodacom insurance whereby all contact information for Vodacom is incorrect, also on the they want to repudiate my claim die to a usage issue, they said the phone should have been used, I used the phone since 22/08/2024, I switched off the phone as it was suppose to be a birthday gift for me son, on the morning of 14 September 2024 I switched it on again to run the necessary updates and unfortunately I was involved in an armed ******* as per the Police affidavit attached. How do they expect technological impaired people to understand anything other than what I did? 4. CAS306-9 Armed ******* Affidavit 5. ID Copy 6. Oppo reno Emei numbers 7. Insurance policy – I signed this yes, but when a case like this with incorrect contact information is brought to a court case the terms and conditions document will be deemed non binding or incorrect, 8. Screen shots of the days a received the ITC numbers,

Now I must continue to pay a policy on a device I don’t have, thus Vodacom insurance is *****ing money from a long term client and Vodacom wont assist in cancelling the contract therefore I will be paying a contact and p hone a don’t have and cannot use.

Kindly please assist me herein as I am struggling to get through to the management team for assistance.

I have had my insurance with Vodacom insurance on all devices since 2008, being a long standing client of both these companies I truly believe they can offer better service delivery and assistance. The service delivery from Vodacom insurance is completely unprofessional.

Roughly 8 years ago I was also ****** at gun point in town and it took the Vodacom insurance company and the ombudsman 18 months to pay out whereby the then only replaced a previous phone.

Please help that this claim wont again take this long.

Kind regards

J. R. Oosthuizen, ***
