Vodacom and TT Connect - worst service ever received

After many years of being a Vodacom customer, I am at the point of completely discontinuing my Vodacom Fibre service. On Monday, 10/06/2024, I logged a service request with Vodacom regarding the need for repair on my fibre link (SR***). At 13:34 on Monday, 10/06/2024, I was told that I would receive service within 24-72 hours since I contacted technical support on Monday, 10/06/2024. I patiently waited, knowing that by Thursday, 13/06/2024, at approximately 14:00, I would hopefully have received my service. At Thursday 16:00, I still received no service, and without any communication from Vodacom. I decided to contact them again, when Anele from Vodacom spoke to me. She told me that by Friday, 14/06/2024, at 13:00, a Vodacom repair team will be at my house to repair the fibre link. At approximately 09:50 on Friday, 14/06/2024, a TT Connect employee, Wandile, mobile: ***, tried to phone me, and dropped the call. As I tried to phone him back three times, he wouldn't answer the call again. He arrived at my property around 10:00 on Friday, 14/06/2024, and told a family member at home that he would come back later to fix the fibre link. Firstly, he didn't arrive at the scheduled time that was communicated to me by Anele on Thursday, 13/06/2024, and secondly he didn't provide any service whilst he was at my property. Waiting the whole of Friday, 14/06/2024, Wandile from TT Connect never showed up again at my property to fix the fibre link. At approximately 16:00 on Friday, 14/06/2024, I phoned the Vodacom service help line, asking them why my fibre link still has not been repaired. I received a very nonchalant answer, stating that Vodacom might contact me on Saturday, 15/06/2024 to try and resolve the issue. Now, way more than 72 hours later, I am still without without fibre, and I have no idea when my service will be restored. At 17:20 on Friday, 14/06/2024, I phoned Wandile from TT Connect again, when then finally answered my call. He was being very arrogant and rude, telling me that the fibre cable couldn't be laid, and that he sent a message on some "group" that would help him to fix the cable. He wouldn't provide me with further information, or why the fibre link couldn't just be fixed today. He then went on to say that he tried to phone me, and I didn't answer, which was true, however i phoned him back immediately, to which he ignored my calls three times. As I said, he was very arrogant and rude, not at all what one would want from a service provider. I asked him to please give me another number that I could phone, to try and resolve the problem myself. Wandile from TT Connect gave me a number, stating to me that the service center won't answer me anyways, but I insisted on receiving another number to reach someone that might help me. The number Wandile gave me, ***, didn't exist when I tried to dial them. I immediately phoned Wandile back, and asked him for another number, to which he responded with *** or ***. I phoned the *** number around 17:30 on Friday, 14/06/2024, where I spoke to Tidie. She told me that she was only part of the TT Connect sales department, and that the technical department closed at 17:00. Now, almost a week without my fibre, I am at the point of discontinuing my service. After years of being a loyal customer, using Vodacom as my main network service provider I am deeply disappointed.

Reviewer Update
Good day,

When I logged the original call your consultant said it will take 24 to 72 hours then my fibre line will be fixed and working again. My fibre line is still down and TT connect said they will only send a repair team on Thursday 20 June at 15:00 which is 220 hours after I reported the damaged cable.

Will I be refunded for the time (144 hours) that I am not able to use your fibre line that I paid for already?

Please confirm how I will be compensated for the 144 hours I paid for already?

Regards
Hugo
