Vodacom and their *****sters destroyed my life.

Early August 2024, I was in the process of procuring a vehicle and the dealership informed me that I have a judgement on my name I need to pay Vodacom 23K for the cellphone contract that was taken on my ID number in 2022. Apparently the contract was taken in Capetown and the names used does not match my name's as per my ID document. Phone number and email address is also not mine. I never had a cell phone contract with Vodacom and I stay in JHB not Capetown. I called Vodacom legal department on the 27 August 2024 and they told me that I need to contact Alliance since the case was handed over to them for debt collection. I then called Alliance who advised me to send them my ID copy and an affidavit from the police station with 10 signatures. I sent this information to them on the 28 August 2024 and they advised that my matter will be resolved within 14days. I made follow ups every week with Alliance but to no avail. Today the 30 September 2024 I called Alliance who advised that the matter is escalated to Vodacom legal team and that I should follow up with Vodacom directly. When I called Vodacom they told me that they have not received anything from Alliance and that I should go back to Alliance. I went back to Alliance and ask for proof of Email from that was sent to Vodacom from Khaya the supervisor and she told me that they can't share the proof with me because it is confidential (was taken aback by this) since the email that was sent contains my personal information. Now I've been sent from pillar to post on this issue and my life is stuck because of this, nobody seems to care. Vodacom failed to conduct due diligence when they gave a phone worth 23K to a ***** star in 2022 and now I must suffer for this even after I have submitted all the required documents to help with their investigations. All I want is for my name to be removed from credit bureau and to continue with my life peacefully.
