Vodacom and their Rewards affiliate hoax

A telemarketer called me in October 2021 from Vodacom's rewards affiliate partner and offered to upgrade my data contract to a contract that gives more data and a new modem. To my surprise, i received the modem but did not receive the correct upgrade on my contract, Vodacom kept it the same as my previous contract. I then contacted Vodacom customer care and they referred me to their rewards partner which confirmed the higher data package. The rewards department then referred me to Vodacom 's after sales department to activate the new contract. They indicated that they cannot do it because it must come from the rewards department. The fight to get this resolved has been going on for more than a week now. I suggest that you don't believe anyone that calls you on behalf of Vodacom to extend any of your contracts, it is a complete mess and hoax.
