Vodacom and the pathetic customer service.

So last year August 26, I took out a contract for the Samsung Galaxy Note9 which came with 2GB data, 50 minutes along with a promotion of 100 minutes free, according to the sales lady (Which I forgot to get her name).

September comes and I see I have received my 2GB of data and only the 50 minutes which is part of the contract, but no 100 free minutes. I have a look on the vodacom app to find out the free 100 minutes are there and I am also being charged for it, with an amount of R54.50 and it shows as a 50% discount promotion, unfortunately that cannot be fought over as it was not stipulated in the contract.

This is where it gets interesting, I first go to one consultant, he says he will help me out but ends up not letting me know what is happening and also I can't get hold of him. I find someone else who is really helpful, Natalia Dos Santos, a consultant who works at the Vodacom branch in Bedford Centre, which is where I opened up the contract. Natalia has helped me with everything, she was calling the call centre, speaking to the manager and everything, by far the best consultant ever. So Natalia keeps on fighting for my free minutes to show, and it apparently shows on the computers there but I did not ever receive them. So keep in mind, my first official month of my contract is September, I only get my minutes near the end of January as if I'm correct it was the regional manager, his name was Jurie Swart. So now my fight is the matter of getting credit for the months where no service was given, keep in mind that this service was supposed to be free. So it was five months of no service received, but one of the managers at the Vodacom Bedford Centre store gave me R100 airtime for November, so that leaves me with four months where I need credit which is a total of R218.00 credit which I need to receive.

So since January I have been trying to get this credit, Jurie Swart is on a call with me when my minutes were sorted and reflecting on my account, I asked him what about my credit, he then said I must go and speak to the manager at the store which I opened up the contract. I headed over to Vodacom Bedford Centre, I spoke with the manager Nadeem where he said Jurie had to sort it out. I speak to Natalia again and she said she will see what she could do by sending an email. Natalia then messages me and asks me to call Nadeem as nobody is listening to her, what a pathetic manager if you ask me, we send another email to Jurie Swart, he replies with "Hi Natalia, this was sorted as I had the customer and ISD log on a call together". So I reply literally as I get the email, as Natalia copied me in, that my credit was not given to me, at no surprise I have not received a reply.

Now if you ask me I think Natalia should be the manager and the pathetic manager Nadeem should not even be there as he does NOT know how to resolve an issue, and tomorrow will be the start of month 10 and my issue is still not fully resolved.
