Vodacom and Mondo Charging Clients for non-existent Handsets

I had two Vodacom contracts that were due for upgrade. I then received a call from from a Vodacom partner, Mondo, with an upgrade offer, which I accepted. In my discussion with the consultant, she advised me that I would be getting 30 Gigs for each of the two numbers I was upgrading, plus 30 Gigs each for twenty-four months. The consultant went further to indicate that I'd be getting a free Educational Vouncher for each one of the two numbers I was upgrading. Upgraded SIM cards and two vouchers were delivered to me to start with effect from 01 February 2022.

Later, I received a quote that includes installments for handsets. On 07 February 2022, I called Vodacom to ask why I would be paying handsets installements because I had not taken any handset. Vodacom transfered me to Mondo for an explanation. At Mondo, on I spoke to Nicolis, under Ref. No. RCO180649. Nicolis said he thought the handsets installments are actually for the free vouchers. I indicated to hNicolis that the Mondo consultant said the vouchers would be free.

Nicolis promised that he would investigate and revert to me by 10 February 2022. Nicolis never reverted to me. I am now concerned that I have just received my statement from Vodacom, and according to this statement, I will be paying installments for the two handsets I know nothing about.

This is a very ********* way of conducting business, and I would like Vodacom to properly vett its partners like Mondo, because our contracts are with Vodacom, and it's the Vodacom's reputation that is being impaired by these un ethical business conducts. I just want Vodacom to cancel the handsets installments, as I have not taken any handsets, and I have no need for any Vouchers. Vodacom and Mondo can take the vouchers back if they are no longer free. I do not even need the vouchers. I have receiced many vouchers from Vodacom over the years, and I have never used any.
