Vodacom and MBD Attorneys

I was made aware of an outstanding account with Vodacom and was handed over to their attorneys (MBD). I settled the amount in full in May, struggled to get my paid-up letter but nonetheless received it. I made several enquiries for removal of my name on ITC, and MBD says Vodacom needs to do it and Vodacom says MBD must do it. According to Vodacom account is not sealed and final. I am so tired of going back and forth between these two companies with no joy. For the past week when calling Vodacom's accounts department (***) it says "the number you have dialed does not exist". If these two companies are affiliated in any way (which clearly, they are), why is it such a headache and struggle to get everyone on one page? No one from either company returns calls, If I could give a zero rating for both these companies, I would.
