Vodacom AND Game N1 City

I opened a contract in May 2017 by Game N1 city. Everything was approved on that same day. A week later they contacted me to say I do not qualify for the contract which at the time was R169 p/m. I gave the phone back and at the end of May they debited my account with +-R500. I went back to Game and asked why there was money deducted from my account, the consultant called them and said that the cancellation was not through on their side. She assured me she will send the documents through again. At this point I went to MTN and app**** for a contract that was R299 and this was approved within hours. End of June came and once again my account was debited with =- R600. I took initiative and tried contacting Vodacom myself as I was losing faith in the consultant who assisted me with the contract. They asked me for the cell phone number of the phone I took which I couldn't possibly have as I handed in everything back to Game. I gave up hope, thinking that it wouldn't happen a third time but end of July they again took money from my account, another +-R500. I had to reverse the money back into my account every month with reversal charges being deducted. Early August I went to Vodacom and the guy told me from what he could see on the system, my contract was only cancelled on the 1st of August. I waited for the end of August for the scheduled debit but nothing was debited. It finally stopped.

May 2018 came and I got call from lawyers to say that I owe Vodacom money and they are dealing with my account. The lady requested the documents for the cancellation. I did not have it. So I made time to got to Game about 2 weeks ago and one of the new consultants explained to me that the lady who assisted me with the contract was not there at that moment but he would take my details and ask the manager to get back to me.

I am still waiting for feedback from them.
