Vodacom - almost too good to be true

I don't understand how the different departments of this service provider do not communicate.

I was looking forward to my 24 month contract ending in March. I even sent the necessaries to ensure that the service for my ********** 356 will expire in the right time frames - but according to the Consumer Protection Act, Vodacom was to contact me advising that my service will end and ask if I wanted to continue - they have not. Instead they continued the service and tried to keep debiting my account.

The end date for my contract has been confirmed, but I needed to contact a different department for them to actually enforce it on their systems, this still has not happened. I am out of the country and have sent emails to every place I can, retentions, legals, general customer care, but they keep telling me to pay a vague amount and that I am in arrears. This is absolutely poor service with action against the Consumer Protection Act - *******.

I really do want to settle the matter, pay exactly what I owe and move on, but this company wants to pull every last cent from me and take advantage of the situation.

It was almost too good to be true, two years without any problems....
