Vodacom allows *****sters

An account was *****ulantly opened online in April 2023 on my name at Vodacom. My ID and bank account number was used. How does this happen?? Was nothing verified?? I reported this to Vodacom and I reversed the pro rata amount of R105 on my banking app and also stopped it from going off again, or so I thought. Consequently the *****ulent account was in arrears. This month, on the 1st of June the total amount of R4300 for the contract went off my account. How??????? Who can afford this??? How does Vodaom allow such ***** to happen without any verification. I never had a Vodacom account, ever and I never will. Iy can only happen when they are in cahoots with the *****sters. So people, beware. This is reality. People can get your information from who know where, and open accounts on your name and you are responsible for the payment. Sies Vodacom
