Vodacom Allows ***** from 3rd Parties

I have been a contract subscriber with Vodacom for a while now and have been very happy with the level of service. The times I had issues customer service was efficient in dealing with the issue.

I app**** for a new contract this week, just to find out that my profile is blocked due to previous applications on my account. When I dug deeper into this I found out that Elite Mobile was making applications on my account, a company I have never heard of. This is flat out *****.

I contacted Vodacom multiple times in this regard but all my communication is getting ignored. What I would like to know is when did I give Vodacom permission to share my personal data with other companies?

After a Google search, I found that there are hundreds of complaints regarding Elite Mobile for *****, yet Vodacom keeps dealing with this company.
