Vodacom allows ***** and theaft on customer's accounts

<p>It is with absolute amazment and disgust that I received a bill with an amount of over R534.21 more than my normal monthly vodacom spend/account. On enquiry I was told that I did 3 calls via satalite to Bangladesh. (country code +88). I have never phoned or contacted anybody in Bangladesh and on lodging an enquiry was told it would be investigated but in the meantime I am to pay my account or I will be cut off. Ref no 1/ ********** ********** .</p> <p>So far nothing and the call centre was even incapable of giving me the information that +88 is in fact Bangladesh. I was told it is The USA - strange, their country code is +1.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am at my wits end in trying to get this ***** resolved and am stringly considering lodging a formal ***** charge at the South African Police. It has to be an inside job as according to Truecaller 2 of the numbers are marked down as ****.</p> <p>These calls were done on 18th, 21st and 23rd February according to the itmeised billing that I subsequently received from Vodacom, but as yet no body has resolved this query and I am supposed to pay for calls I never made from my cell phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I do hope that this will be resolved asap and that somebody with authority will contact me to sort this out - I am tired of fighting for my rights.</p>

It is absolutely disgusting that Vodacom see fit to inform the client that they will refund a specific amount (without defining the amount) as a final courtesy on the account where ********** phone calls to Bangladesh were made. They refuse to post or email itemised invoices so that the call numbers can be checked and have also been adamant that the phone calls to Bangladesh were made from the client's cell phone. THEY CAN COME AND CHECK THE CELLPHONE HISTORY AND WILL FIND THAT FROM SAID CELL PHONE NO CALLS TO BANGLADESH WERE MADE. They refuse to divulge from which specific sim card number the calls were made from and the fact that Vodacom is prepared to refund some money - tells me that there was ***** involved.

Really, do Vodacom need to ***** money from their clients and do not come clean!!!!!!! What kind of a company are they.

This query needs to be resolved immediately as it has been dragging on for weeks/months now and the silence from Vodacom is defening.

Let's see if there are honest people in that company called Vodacom
