Vodacom airtime and data just disappears.

I've been a Vodacom customer now for about 18years, and usually I am quite happy with them, but lately, I have noticed a very upsetting trend of my data and airtime just seeming to disappear into thin air. This month, I started off with R100 airtime. I made less than 10 minutes worth of calls and my R100 is finished. I have data that I use for my internet based activity, so it was not as a result of browsing, although Vodacom's data bundle rates are also a joke. I would have to have made close to 100minutes worth of calls to spend that amount of money.

This is nothing short of theft.

Thank you to the great consultant that phoned me in order to resolve the issue, which was an unsolicited V-Live subscription on my number taking off airtime. He was very friendly and efficient, and promised to reimburse my airtime that was taken. Perhaps Vodacom could add an option to check which subscription services are running on your number, either via the Vodacom website or *111*, seeing as they are so easy to 'subscribe' to. According to the consultant, sometimes even clicking 'X' or exit on an ad will be seen as subscribing. This is surely *******? Either way, very frustrating when you do not subscribe to things and they take your money anyway!
