Vodacom aiding and abetting *****.
I have been **********ly billed for thousands of rands for a service called XCOM. I explained to Vodacom customer care dept. that I have no idea who this so called service provider is and that I should not have been billed for something that I never asked for. I also pointed out that Vodacom is aware of this **** because of all the complaints that have been made regarding these **********, yet they (Vodacom) just carry on billing innocent victims. Vodacom is obviously getting a healthy cut out of this, so they are reluctant to protect their subscribers and come up with ridiculous reasons why they just keep billing innocent victims. if they were serious about stopping this ****, they would have taken heed of all the complaints and stopped all transactions linked to these **********. Because of their own financial gain, they just sit back and rake in the money along with their partners in crime. This is totally unacceptable. When I wanted to cancel my Vodacom subscription to avoid further ********** transactions, I was told by Vodacom that it would cost me R1200.00 to cancel my subscription, therefor creating a catch 22 situation for me.
