Vodacom . . . AGAIN! JUST CANCEL THE DAMN CONTRACT!

Again . . . me and Vodacom. It doesn't help to be a loyal Customer for 25 odd years, if they can bull**** you, they will.

I phoned on the 23rd of September 2023 to cancel one of my contracts. The lady tried to do an upgrade, to which I declined. Then she suggested that we do a Flexi 0, basically a whatsapp bundel, to which I agreed. And then I confirmed with her that the last payment of this contract would b end of October 2023, to which she confirmed. Good stuff.

Knowing how cumbersome a cancellation can be at Vodacom, I followed up on it yesterday. Contract not cancelled. The lady said that she will process it. Few hours later, another lady phones me, wanting to do an uprade on said line. To which I declined, and said that I cancelled this contract for the second time, and that I will not pay the contract amount. And then she said that there was nothing done on the contract, she can't see the cancellation . . .

Got the statement this morning, and the contract is still going on . . . what the hell . . .

Also in September, did a cancellation at Cell C, and guess what! No issues whatsoever.

Thank you Vodacom for helping me making my mind up. I'm no big spender, but I will definitely be cancelling all my contracts with you as the time goes by. Don't need this shot in my life, really . . .

Thank you very much. Appreciated. And like I said over the phone, it is always sad that matter like this have to escalate to this, just to get it sorted.

Thanking you!
