Vodacom... again!

It seems to me that Vodacom is determined to avoid communicating meaningfully with its customers, unless one resorts to more desperate means.

My invoice this month contains two new charges of which I have little knowledge: no warning, no explanation -- they just appear on the invoice. Last month I had tried 'phoning 'customer care' about another matter and that proved to be a drawn out deadend. So this time I responded by e-mail and the reply informed me (the 'dear valued customer'!!) that I needed to contact the TOBI 'support' channels for 'faster service'. I tried contacting the WhatsApp number and received automated responses consisting of advertisments and a message that TOBI did not understand my request. Is there a way of making contact with Vodacom quickly and efficiently, that does not leave one feeling disappointed and frustrated?

A few months ago, against my better judgement, I renewed my (small) Vodacom contract and so far I really regret that decision. Surely it's time to try another network in the hope of being provided with a more accessible, efficient and honest customer service.
