VODACOM\AFRIZONE BIG SWINDLE

Below is an email I sent to a Vodacom employee who promised to help. Please read the contents of the communication below, as it explains my grievance against Vodacom or Afrizone. I had no idea Afrizone was involved until they called me on 10\03\2017.

These deductions have been in existence since 2014. I need help get my money back, and close this ********** account.

T.Mdlalose

Cell no.: ********** 160

From: Thembekile Mdlalose
Sent: Tuesday, 14 March 2017 9:56 AM
To: ********** ********** /> Subject: Ref:1- ********** 139660

Good Morning,

I got a call from Afrizone that got my head in a spin. There is a gross misrepresentation of facts as I know them.

I called Vodacom for an upgrade on ********** 160
I got a called with an offer for a discount on ********** 160, which I accepted
My other contracts are for ********** 720 and ********** 716
I was informed at Vodacom Custormer Service, at the Midlands Mall, Pietermaritzburg, that:
The number ********** 112 is for a lap top that was bought online
The payment towards this is R321
The number receives R110 data and the rest of the money is instalments for he laptop
I was shocked by what I was told at Afrizone, which is

The upgrade that I requested for ********** 160 was done on ********** 112
The discount that I accepted is for ********** 112

There is no way I could be upgrading a number that has never been mine.

How does it come about that I call Vodacom requesting a service for my number, and they give that service to a different number?

I still maintain that I have never had this number, neither have I entered into any agreements for upgrades and discounts for it. I am also amazed that Afrizone tells me the signatures match. This needs thorough investigation because as I am baffled how my signature could be found on something I have never had.

This means the package I was promised for my number is being consumed by someone else. This ***** at its best. Obviously now whatever I need for my number will automatically go to this unknown ghost. I cannot even have the number blocked or cancelled because I do not have the sim card details.

Does this really mean I will never be refunded, and I will always carry this burden?

I had no idea when I reported this matter I would get so insulted. Afrizone is actually telling me I am ****. I am seriously aggrieved by this whole situation. I was really hoping for an amicable solution, trusting that Vodacom practices ethically. I trusted Vodacom. I feel like such a fool now.

I am however still begging Vodacom to remove this albatross around my neck. I do not have the energy nor the resources to fight Vodacom. All I know is someone is getting away with a crime and *****ing Vodacom’s name in the process.

Since Afrizone said they cannot deal with this as it has been upgraded, I have to plead with you to solve this nightmare.

********** 112 IS NOT MY NUMBER. PLEASE FIND THE CULPRIT.

T.Mdlalose
