Vodacom advertise Black Friday deals but don't let you sign up for them

I've had a massive problem taking out a Vodacom contract since Black Friday (23rd November). At midnight, I signed up on the Vodacom website for the Nokia 8 Sirocco on a deal. I got an email confirmation that then said an agent will call me. I have not had that agent call me as yet. In fact, I've had to make multiple calls to Vodacom myself to try and take out the deal.

I've currently got a Virgin Mobile prepaid number, and want to port that number onto Vodacom. I've had to phone into Vodacom myself, spent mutliple hours on the call and spoken to multiple people trying to get the deal done. I was told that the porting request was made, and that was confirmed by 2 other people on followup calls that I made on Friday. On Saturday, I've spent another few hours on customer support trying to the contract taken up, and was eventually told that the number port request that was allgedly done on Friday, was not actually done and the previous agents **** to me. I then decided to go into the Vodacom store to try and get it resolved, the agent recommended I port my number over to prepaid and once that's done I can take out the contract. I went ahead with it and on Monday morning Virgin Mobile confirmed that they released the number, so it's now on Vodacom's end to approve. I then called Vodacom customer suport, who said that as it was a port done in store, they can't assist me online and I need to go into the store. I went into the store, and the agent in the branch told me that Vodacom has been having porting issues for the past few weeks - something that nobody in my previous calls to Vodacom (more than 5 hours worth of calls, including conversations with the support team leader) or my previous branch visit could tell me.

I called Vodacom again, got through to the porting department and was hung up on before could ask if my porting could be completed.

The deal I wanted to take up on Friday, that I signed up for since Midnight on Friday, that I got a confirmation of, that I was advised to manually port my number over for, is now sold out, and I'm out of luck. My number is still in limbo now, Virgin Mobile released it from their system, Vodacom hasn't apporved it yet, and now the contact I wanted is sold out, so the whole ordeal of porting over to Vodacom is entirely wasted, and now I'm stuck with them because I can't port back to Virgin Mobile until 3 months pass. I've also lost out on other black friday deals on phones/contracts because I was supposed to get the deal from Vodacom.

This is absolutely horrible service and has actually cost me more than just time and money, on one of the most valuable shopping days of the year, and will definitely be taking further action against Vodacom.

How can you respond by saying that the phone is out of stock and discontinued, so they can't give me a deal on it, but then you still have ads for it on the internet, and I can take out the exact phone on another, more expensive contract? https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/shopping/devices/secure-checkout?cid=DI_slvr_***&dealId=596067&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9KSxh4_33gIVplwVCB0aNA5AEAEYASAAEgLStPD_BwE
