vodacom admits they don't give a **** abt prepaid
I received an sms 2 days ago warning me that my no. was sim swapped but I authorised no such thing. I called into the call centre twice after the 2nd time explaining this \ Ive received a message saying I requested a sim swap & I've done no such thing. Could it please be cancelled."Were the Vodacom call centre agents able to comprehend & do something on the system or not. The reason why I say not is the lady said it was cancelled but 3 hrs later I lose reception. My no wasnt sim swapped. It was sim swiped. Some1 stole it. Yes and Vodacom whos only security questions are wat is ur name and wat did u last recharge were so unhelpful that I had to go to a Vodacom store the following day. In the mean time someone mightve been using my no. 4 *****. The Vodacom shop helped a lot even tho they also had difficulty with the call center agents having to call a supervisor. Their answer is simply we do not protect our prepaid clients numbers. Only the contract clients. Ive had my no. since 1998 when Vodacom was still in nappies. I do expect you to protect my number after nearly 20 years of loyalty. Shameel I had respect 4vodacom when I worked for u wen Alan knott ran things. Now I've lost it."""
