Vodacom acting *******ly

Despite having contacted Vodacom customer care on numerous occassions, Vodacom has made no actual attempt to resolve the issue.

Despite my request that their offices reply to me and/or assist in removing my name from the any credit listings wherein they have listed me as a "bad payer" without any grounds to have done so, I have not been favoured with the courtesy of a reply.

My credit rating has been adversely influenced by Vodacom’s ******** listing of my name as a “bad payer” and I have further been prejudiced in that I cannot apply for any type of credit whilst my name is listed.

Vodacom had no right in law to list and/or report me as a bad payer and, even had their actions had any merit (which I maintain it had not), I was not notified at any time that my account was in arrears and further that my failure to bring the account up to date would result in Vodacom reporting me as a “bad payer”, as is required by law.

Their actions are ******** and they seem to think that because they are a large corporation they can get away with debiting a consumer's bank account with incorrect and inflated amounts which they cannot even substantiate, and then thereafter proceeding to list consumers as bad payers, when they have no actual basis to do so.
