Vodacom Accounts Department Unreachable

Hi Vodacom,

I am using this channel as a hopeful means of getting through to the 'Accounts' department and solving my problem/request.

I have tried 3 times to speak to someone in the 'accounts' department and have spoken to 3 individual ladies called 'Vanessa', 'Trish' and 'Nthabiseng'. Every time these ladies put me through to the 'Accounts' department, reconfirmation of details has to take place and none of the 3 ladies is any wiser on how to go about servicing my account request and query. I have explained my problem and challenge 3 times and every time I am told : 'I will put you through to the accounts department'. This circling process does not stop and keeps running in circles. Thus my conclusion is that the 'accounts' department is unreachable to the public. My query was NOT resolved : 0 out of 10.

My query is as follows.

I have been retrenched from end November 2018. I am struggling to keep the Vodacom account up to date and am running out of cash as I am still unemployed and struggle to find a job to supply a stable income. My request is that Vodacom stops all my contracts and convert all my current contract numbers to prepaid. Failure to do so will cause non-payment of my accounts and thus will be in arrears. If need be I am willing to supply an affidavit or any other relevant documentation to proof that I am retrenched and still unemployed. Vodacom, what can you do for me so that you can retain me as a future customer?

Worst case scenario is below just spelt out: Because of future non-payment and thus I will be blacklisted which is totally unfair because of the economy doing very poorly currently which is outside of my control of been retrenched from my previous company. I am not the first in a case-in-point scenario like this, and trust me there are many more like me(jobless and requesting full premature contract termination) are on their way. This as it might not appear to be so, is an ideal opportunity to avoid a class action lawsuit waiting to happen from an audience with the same definition of problem or complaint. This is a very suitable time for Vodacom to reposition themselves in favor of the public. Shameel Joosub, I hope this gets bought to your attention. Enough said.
