Vodacom above the Consumer Protection Act?

We cancelled a month to month contract with Vodacom two years ago, with the required "reasonable" notice period. The contract amount was less than a R100. Despite cancelling the contract in writing as provided for and specifically allowed for in the Consumer Protection Act, I am now being pursued by Hammond Pole, their Debt collectors for an amount in excess of R2,000.

How can a company like Vodacom show the CPA the middle finger?

Vodacom!! I will not pay, we can go to court. I have all the documents plus recorded telephone calls of more than an hour in total.

You show everybody the middle finger? Your attorneys will be reported to the Legal Practitioner's Council and you at the Consumer Ombud and ICASA.

So because you posted an automated reply I should feel warm and fussy? Vodacom, you are beyond useless. I have no doubt that I will receive no phone call, nor an email.

No contact from Vodacom. Andrew, Patricia and Sandra were just as unhelpful
