Vodacom.. A lying bunch of no good *******.

The only difference between a Vodacom contract and a bunch of shady politicians is that at least you expect to be deceived by the politicians.

I phoned in to cancel a Vodacom contract that had run its 24 month course so that i could move on to a better package elsewhere. (Telkom Mobile, Definitely more competitively priced if anyone is interested)

I spoke to a woman by the name of Lydia last Tuesday the 19/07/2016 about cancelling as I was well within my rights to do so. She then asked why, to which I said I can get a better deal elsewhere, she then offered me a more reasonable package to stick with Vodacom...This is where the lies began.

I was told that I would have my new phone by Friday the 22/07/2016 and that I would be receiving R200 airtime and 1 gig of data on a monthly basis.

On Friday I phoned in again as I had not even received a tracking number or confirmation of the deal discussed with Lydia from retentions 3 days prior. Bad news if you’re expecting to be holding the phone in your hand by Friday. I then gave my order number to another person from retentions and then asked them to confirm the details of the order... There was no data attached to it and no action had been taken on the order by this time.

This was pretty agitating as I stayed because of the offer of data and now i had felt rather mislead and ******* by someone who it seems was just trying to save their own skin at my expense.

On Monday I phoned again and was hung up on the first time, put on hold till i hung and phoned back and finally when I did get to speak to someone I was once again told a whole load of lies ,. I asked them to call me back by 9 this morning to let me know what was happening, I’m still waiting for that call.

I then phoned retentions AGAIN at 12 today to resolve the issue, another long frustrating conversation I realized that this was going nowhere at all and that I was never going to get the deal promised to me by the first lying weasel I spoke to.

So after a good 20 minutes of no answers and frustration i asked them to just leave it and cancel the whole ****** thing as I was tired of being taken for a clown. I was then told by the retentions advisor that I can’t cancel now as I have taken my upgrade and I wanted the upgrade and it’s my problem...This level of service is absolutely despicable, I was deceived into another 24 months with you ****** sharks with lies and the most shocking service I have ever experienced ever.

I will be putting a stop order on the monthly debit for you guys and you can take your shady dealings and shove it! Best you keep the phone because if it comes my way I’ll be sending it straight back to where it came.

Don’t lie to people Vodacom it will only end in tears you snakes.
