vodacom 7 day return policy BS!

Having vodacom selling your pensioner mother 2GB data over the phone that she does not need.

Within the so called allowable seven days period she cancelled the contract with vodacom even sending a courier to collect the router and sim card from her.

Now sitting without the sim and having to struggle for more than 8 months to get them to stop the monthly deductions and cancel the contract it has become clear that vodacom has no intention of doing so.

They have a special talent, every time you phone, to send you from pillar to post when trying to enquire why the contract is still not cancelled. If the juggle starts when customer care puts you through to the account department, puts you through to the cancellations etc... then you might as well hang up.

My question to vodacom:

1. If we put a stop order on her bank account, what will the repercussions be? Even though she was allowed to cancel withing the 7 day period (or is this just some sales bs?)

2. If you are not going to cancel this contract, can we at least get the router and sim card back so we can use the data that you are so comfortably charging her for? Who do we contact?

3. How can we flag it on your system to outomatically cancel this data and her cellphone contracts once it comes up for renewal (2017) as this experience is enough for her to rather go shop elsewhere?

Account number: I ********** -0, ********** 450
