Vodacom
First off I got the contract with vodacom for 3 years. About 1 and a half years in I paused the contract for 6 months and in that time vodacom "lost" (or deleted) my contract start and end date. After the contract started again I wanted to know my end date and I struggled for about a year with them and they finally got me an end date that was way off, meaning the year that I struggled for an end date and payed them was money lost/****** by vodacom as they did not change the handset installment for that year. When I finnaly scrached enough money together to pay off my contract I owed them roughly R8100, but they still wanted me to pay the R1100 monthly installment for the next 19 months accourding to the contract end date. I payed them to close my contract after getting the contract cancelation quote and had to go pay instore (I didn't have a problem with paying instore). My problem now is, after paying instore to cancel the contract and close my account, they still want me to pay them another additional R1100 as accourding to them I closed the account after the billing cycle. I never recieved a notice (by email, sms or the app) that I owed the additional money and my account is already on prepaid. They only phoned me from pre-legal to inform me that if I don't pay they will take action against me. I don't recommend vodacom to anyone as the service is laughable at its best and that is if you can get to a person to assist and not the damned robot and they try to "take" as much money from their clients as possible
