vodacom

I have been a Vodacom customer for many years, almost 5 years ago I decided to go under debt review, I made this choice as I was in my late 40's retirement creeping up and although I could handle my debt now once retired I would be in trouble. I also accepted the fact that I do not have the self discipline to do it on my own. Please note that my Vodacom bill was never in arrears and never fell under my debt review. For the first few years under debt review I had no problems upgrading my contracts or adding new contracts but suddenly in June 2019 something changed, I wanted to upgrade my cellphone contract but was forced to take a much higher contract than I wanted because of the financing on the phone? Then my laptop contract came due (this contract was taken out a couple of months after I went under debt review) and they would not allow me to upgrade that, another of my contracts is currently due and I cannot upgrade it. I do not understand why Vodacom is treating me like a someone who defaults, I have never missed a payment in all the years I have been a customer of theirs and in fact they are currently getting half what they used to from me. I still get constant phone calls from their call centre telling me I am listed as whatever terminology they use for preferred customer or high value customer, I laugh. How can I be a preferred customer if I cannot upgrade my contracts? I am so fed up, if they do not want me as a customer they need to stop phoning me, I am switching my contracts to pay as you go or just not upgrading. I have a few months left of the debt review process and will then look at changing service providers completely.
