Vodacom???

I have not yet received any updates and I am the one having to send emails and making calls to Vodacom which is very irritating, because I need to explain myself over and over and over again.

Can I have urgent feedback regarding my complaint. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> From: Nadine Abrahams Sent: Saturday, 15 October 2022 10:46 To: ***; *** Subject: RE: EC-1EML-1VHOVD RE: FW: Vodacom Contract | Account Arrears | Unhappy, disappointed, Angry client

Hi there,

I am waiting for an update on my compliant.

Stop sending me SMS about my account that is in arrears if you guys have not solved this matter.

if I do not have an update by Monday 17 October ’22, I will take the matter further and take it to the Ombudsman.

As Vodacom is trying to run away of their mistakes and wants their customers to pay for the mistakes that your agents made.

This is now really frustrating me as I am the one that needs to contact Vodacom to get updates and I mean this has been going on for almost 3 weeks with a lot of emails sent back and forth with not call intervention whatsoever.

I know the lady by the name of Savannah mention that she will contact me on Thursday 13 October ’22, however I have not received a call from her either.

Urgent feedback would be appreciated.

Kind regards Nadine Abrahams

Thank you for the below update.

Just a correction, I did not want to change my debit order date, I have asked as per the telephonic conversation with the agent to reinstate the date for the 27th of each month when I called in to asked for my account to be reinstated and the data line to be cancelled.

I spoke to Savannah yesterday with regards to the matter of my account being in arrears, as previously mentioned I cannot pay for a mistake that Vodacom did, Vodacom decided not to reinstate my debit order, nor did they debit my account. So why should I pay for a mistake that your agents did. They did not do their job why should the consumers pay for the mistake.

There is no such thing as you cannot move an account out of arrears, you have all the necessary resources to do so, you just choose not to and that is why you have so many customers cancelling their services with you because you are not putting the customers first, it is all about money to you.

I need someone to contact me regarding my account that is in arrears. If you are unable to fix the mistake that Vodacom did with regards the debit order and only cancelling the data sim now only after I have requested for it to be cancelled months ago, than please go ahead and cancel all my contract that I have with Vodacom. I cannot be repeating myself over and over again with no satisfaction.

Kind regards Nadine Abrahams >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dear Nadine

With reference to below we confirm the following:

Cancellation has been loaded for the 31 October 2022 for the data line.

We will get the call recordings to be able to assist with credit on the account.

Regarding the debit we confirm that the debit date has been changed to the 27th as per request.

We are unable to remove account from arrears state as the account needs to be paid to manually or via EFT to remove arrears amount.

However the returned debit order amount has been credited, see attached Vodacom statement for your perusal.

So I need to pay for a mistake that the Vodacom agents did by not reinstating the debit order. Can you please send me ALL the recordings from March 2022 to date and this includes call recordings between agents as well when I am being transferred as when the called in to reinstate the debit order the agent mentioned (via email) that he spoke to the collections agent what was discussed I do not know.

PLEASE GO AHEAD AND CANCEL ALL MY CONTRACTS WITH VODACOME, YOUR SERVICES ARE PATHETIC BECAUSE OF VODACOM’S AGENT MISTAKE I NEED TO PAY FOR IT. WOULD YOU PAY FOR MISTAKE THAT AN AGENT DID EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE INSTRUCTED TO DO SOMETHING AND THEY SAY THAT IT WAS DONE WHEREAS IT WAS NOT DONE. IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS, VODACOM? AGAIN, CAN I HAVE ALL THE RECORDINGS FROM MARCH 2022 AS I NEED TO TAKE THIS MATTER FURTHER. I WILL NOT ALLOW VODACOM TO GET ME TO PAY FOR THEIR ***********S AGENTS MISTAKE. I AM DONE WITH VODACOM, YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS !!!!! Business General From: ***

Please note that if your account was not paid either manually or via debit order that account will stay in arrears until the unpaid amount is paid.

The debit order will go off on the 27th and it will be a double debit if the amount is not paid.

Regarding cancellation of the data line the data allocated will not be forfeited but the prepaid conversion will only kick in at the end of the month and will carry over to the next month.

We accept the mistake and apologise but please note you are liable for the previous months subscriptions.

I have received the SMS you have sent with regards to the Data line.
How was I suppose to know that data has been allocated to me at the time. I was under the impression that it was the data that rolled over from the previous months. Who advised or said that you should allocated data to a line that was initially suppose to be cancelled/switched to prepaid? VODACOM did not do their job by following the customer's instructions.
You are only mentioning the data line, what about all my other lines??? You are still not coming up with a solution with regards to the other lines that was not deducted, that I HAVE NOT REQUESTED TO BE CANCELLED OR SWITCHED TO PREPAID. YOU ARE JUST FOCUSING ON THE DATA LINE THAT I HAVE REQUESTED TO CANCELLED WHICH WAS NOT DONE.

Why are you trying to run away from the mistakes that Vodacom made, that I now need to pay for.

Is it fair towards your consumers?

Again, I am asking you, if you are unable to rectify the mistakes that Vodacom did, please do go ahead and cancel all my lines that I have with Vodacom. Because of your mistakes, my credit record is being impacted and Vodacom does not even have the Audacity to contact me, all they do is send sms and emails but I now see that they are not even responding to emails.

I need this matter to me rectified and sorted out ASAP.

Regards
Nadine Abrahams

I am really not getting any joy from Vodacom and it is starting to irritate me. They don't want to cancel my lines either. I will not pay for a mistake that their agents did.

You are not accepting the mistake because you are not even doing anything about the fact that your agents made a mistake. All I get is a simple apology, is that fair? I am not being inconvenienced financially because of your mistake. I do not have R4257.00 available to pay for the mistake that you did. I cannot afford it.
Put yourself in my shoes and explain to me what you would have done if it was you.

Therefore I stand by decision, to please cancel my contracts with Vodacom, this matter is not going to be resolved, because numerous times you tell me that I need to pay for your mistake, it is very unfair towards me and that is why I have requested for the call recordings as I will take the matter to the Ombudsman, because I am not getting any joy all I get is an apology with thousands of rands that I need to pay.
I have a huge family that I take care, I have schools to pay, I am the breadwinner in my home, I have to ensure that I have petrol in my car to get to work to be able to put food on the table and all Vodacom can say is ‘We accept the mistake and apologise but please note you are liable for the previous months subscriptions.’ Can you please honor my request and send me the recordings and cancel all my lines with Vodacom, please. This is unacceptable. Regards Highly upset customer Business General From: ***
