Vodacom , 5 months taking money from me and I dont have an account with them but they will not help.
After over 20 years with Vodacom , I cancelled my account and ported my number due to appalling customer service. To add insult to injury Vodacom now have a “ghost account” (this is the name the legal department gave it) using my name and ID, we are talking over R4000 rand so far from Vodacom off my bank account. Since I have been trying to get to the bottom of it I have spoken on my time for over two hours, have no option to speak to the same consultant twice so have spoken to about 12 different people each time explaining the situation over again. I have been promised call backs and refunds for over two months and continue to have debits off my account and to receive invoices. They say I must send my ID, signatures and bank statement’s (but nobody has ever given me an email address or direct line) I have told them please let me go to Regional Office to take my stuff if the ***** may come from within why would I send all this info on line, they refuse to give me a number. I feel like Vodacom is purposely trying to let the ********* take my money and not pay me back. I have all the times and records of my calls and what was said. My only option is to use Social Media or Radio stations or some way of simply getting someone to tell me who I can talk to and where I can show all the proof to someone at a regional office who will actually help me. Why can’t I have this. I have asked for the proof of the contract that they are using to debit this money and they refuse to show it to me. I have asked for a reference number they just say use the name , date and time of call. I have all of these and will take it with me to the regional office.
