Vodacom 4U Cape Gate Shopping Centre - Will not recommend

I went to Vodacom 4U in the Cape Gate shopping mall.

I wanted to purchase a Samsung S24 Ultra + the watch. ( As my phone recently broke & looking for a phone that will last me a while - Watched reviews etc )

I took out a new contract for the Samsung S24 Ultra, but I was informed that sadly due to limited stock they won't be able to immediately provide the Ultra Watch.

( of course all the checks and roughly an hour later ) I was dealing with Natalie Abels. ( *** )

I got accepted for the phone, but due to limited stock they've informed me that I will need to wait a month for stock to arrive. This was roughly October 2024.

I was fine with this and requested to be called when stocked arrived. The time came and I didn't get any call. Not even just to inform me that there is no stock. ( Nothing )

I then drove to the shop and asked what's the update... She informed me still no stock and that it was on "back order". ( no more information - just that )

Another month went past and still no call, still no update. ( this was now roughly December )

I was in Canal Walk, and walked in and asked if they had stock. But the lovely gentleman informed me that I missed a great combo sale the previous month + didn't have the combo active. That the phone was an individual purchase.

I was a bit shocked as I did express that I wanted the Phone & the Watch.

The gentleman from ( I think Nigel - the manager ) Canal Walk informed me that he will send a request in to see if he's able to get the watch available for me, but it might be best to speak to Cape Gate first to find out if they are able to convert my individual purchase into a combo. ( He called me to keep me updated with his findings - Very Pleased )

I then ended up at the Cape Gate shopping Centre, a bit annoyed that I wasn't informed on stock, "the purchase changes" etc.

I ended up being informed that due to the individual purchase that I can't get the watch immediately and that I would need to give it 6 months prior to obtaining it.

As the best would have been to get it in a combo. Which was the initial request.
