Vodacom

i phoned the Vodacom call center to cancel my contracts. the consultant that i spoke to, asked me why i wanted to cancel. i explained that the data was very expensive so i was going to FNB. the consultant then said that they could offer me an awesome deal, as i was a valued customer of Vodacom, as i have been with the company for twenty years. He then gave me an awesome deal for the two contracts and against my better judgement, i accepted this contract. i received the two phones via RAM, however i only received one micro sim. i then phoned Vodacom and asked them for another micro sim. they ordered one and said that it would be by me within 5 to seven days. a week later, i phoned them as i had not received the micro sim. they apologized, said that they did not know what had happened, and ordered another micro sim. a week later, i had still not received the micro sim and phoned again. they then said "oh sorry, we gave RAM the incorrect contact number for you. we will rectify this and order another card". a week later, i had still not received the card. i phoned again and ordered another card. about three days after this call, i got a call from RAM. the call died as RAM must have run out of airtime. they never phoned back, so i contacted vodacom again. they told me that RAM stated that they could not get hold of me, and promised to order another card and send it on. a few days later i had still not received it and called vodacom again. they promised to resolve it for me, with this call i also received a voice message saying that my number had been blocked by vodacom as i was always calling them. by this time i was in tears and so frustrated that i just couldn't take it. i had numerous people promising to phone me back, and this never materialized. so i decided to go to vodacom and just buy a micro sim. save myself the trouble, frustration and ulcers, by solving it this way. i bought the micro sim, they promised that within four hours the phone would be working. horror of horrors (AND NO SURPRISE AT ALL), the next morning the phone was still not working. i went back to vodacom, the lady that assisted me, phoned the call centre again and after a while, advised that after an hour the phone would be working. well, the next morning the phone was not working. i went back to the shop, and this time they finally managed to resolve it. i am so frustrated and so annoyed. i am looking to cancel all my contracts with vodacom as they fall due for upgrade. and if i could, i would actually move every single contract over to a new service provider. i will never deal with vodacom again as they are totally useless.
