Vodacom 3+ Month Upgrade Drama

This whole issue started on the 8th of June when I stupidly accepted Vodacom's offer to upgrade over the phone. Unfortunately I only recently started taking down the names of the people who helped, me, as on that day we did a deal request match for the Xperia M5 as MTN had it on offer for R250 a month which was R50 cheaper than Vodacom.

The deal match was accepted and this is key to why I stayed with Vodacom, problem was that the M5 had already been discontinued by this time and When I spoke to Yolanda on the 19th of July she informed me that there were no more M5's. Vodacom offered me the Xperia XA which has terrible specifications compared to the M5 at R300 a month and this was when i started the process to try reverse the upgrade process as I was now stuck in another 2 year long contract with Vodacom, but without receiving a new phone.

This was on the 1st of August that I spoke to Dumelo and got the refrence number 1- ********** 1642 for the contract rollback, apparently it was not yet assigned to somebody.
On the 15th of August it still wasnt assigned to somebody said Thame.
On the 24th Whasim told me that he would escalate it, but that I should go to a Vodacom shop to have it escalated further.

I did this on the 31st of August when Iet Simangaliso send an Email to them from the Vodacom store in Nicolway centre.

I'd like to get away from this seemingly incompitent network service provider, but at this point I'd accept an upgrade to the Huawei P9 lite. MTN have also stopped stocking the M5 which I could have gotten had Vodacom not falsely offerend me a deal match they could infact not meet given the fact they were no longer stocking the M5.

The upgrades department has been incredibly useless throughout this process and with claims of the issue being escalated clearly meaning nothing.
