Vodacom

So it is that time when I want to upgrade my cellphone contract with Vodacom, when going to upgrade I find out that my portfolio score is too high to qualify for the phone that I would like. I phone Vodacom customer care and request for a portfolio review to help with my score in order for me to qualify for the phone which I would like, this was on Friday 10 January 2020, I got a reference number and was told I will get feedback in 3 working days. I have phoned every day to follow up on my enquiry every time I phone I get told a different turn around time, first it’s 3 days then it’s 5 days and then I get told 7 days.

No one I spoke to could put me through to someone who can actually give my any feedback and I get told I just have to wait and someone will contact me, yesterday the agent I spoke to logged a request for the department who is working on the enquiry to contact me, no surprise I have still not heard a peep from Vodacom.

This is very frustrating as I have a near perfect credit score and there is no reason why they cannot uplift my portfolio, I have never missed a premium since taking out my contract.

Upon taking up my contract it was perfectly okay for me to get the latest phone however now when I want to upgrade I am restricted to what phone I can get.

I expect an answer and my portfolio to be uplifted by the end of this week or I will cancel my contract and take my money some where else.

How long is "in due course"? I have heard nothing for a week and now I still don't get any feedback but I receive and sms yesterday to say my one reference number just gets closed.

This is pathetic and the fact that every time i phone Vodacom no one can tell me what is going on or transfer me to a department who is assisting with my enquiry.

i want feedback within 2 hours or I will cancel my contract and go to another network.
