VODACOM

It seems an incredible story telling about the porting of a number from FNB to VODACOM but it happens and one is left alone with the problems ... All started on July 16th when I went to the Vodacom shop at Bay Side, Parklands, asking for the porting of my number from FNB to them. After a few minutes that the request had been filed at their computers, I received an SMS confirming that FNB network accepted the porting and I was invited to visit any Vodacom shop to get the new SIM card with my transferred number. Under normal conditions, all this should have lasted not longer than 24 hours but we are today August 16th and about the port none knows anything and it is impossible to find the way to trace it and, above all, the one able to resolve the problem... Furthermore, after having also ported my wife's number also from FNB to them, I do not succeed to call her any more, nor she can call me … It is useless to mention the number of times I went to the Vodacom shop at Bay Side without getting results despite the kind assistance they have always given to me (especially Claudio) but courtesy and assistance without solutions are equal to Zero. Not only it seems that they cannot find a solution for porting my number but they are not even able to find a solution to the reciprocal telephone exclusion between me and my wife... All this is really a shame and Vodacom's Management should intervene to finally solve the problems and also adequately compensate the discomfort caused to me and my wife or, alternatively, clearly admit that they are not able to satisfy my requests allowing me to go to any other Competitors ...
