Good afternoon
I upgraded my cellphone contract In August. After I have signed the papers the consultant informed me that for the next 3 months I have to pay R1500 instead of my new package amount because I have upgraded earlier. I asked him why wasn't I informed before I signed the papers.
I also on that same day changed my banking details from FNB to Capitec. He said he can do it in store so I gave him the details. He said it has been changed
Since then I did not check my bank statements as it is my own fault to see if the debit order went off.
My phone has been cut off completely, I could not use it as prepaid or nothing. Can only receive phone calls. As an estate agent my phone is my work. For contacts of clients, emails and advertising on the internet.
I went to Vodacom after I have received a message from a vodacom number over a phone call - a machine talking to me...saying that I owe over R20 000. For the life of me where does this come from.
I went to Vodacom Rutenburg Waterfall Mall on Tuesday the 16th of October....to see a consultant. He gave me my outstanding balance of over R6000. So how is it possible that the machine says over 20k but in store it is over 6000k? He gave me numbers to phone. Accounts department - to change my banking details as they are not allowed to do it in store. Also the number of Complaints to lodge a complaint and the Legal department as I have been handed over to MBD attorneys.
I spoke to the lawyers and they said on the day of the 16th of October the will email me the banking details into which I must make a payment. I told the lady I will pay R3000 and the other half end of November when I get my SARS money. Up to now I have not received an email from MBD attorneys regarding this matter or any banking details. But I did receive an sms that I did not pay my R3000 as agreed on. This is unacceptable. I was told that I can not pay the R3000 in store at Vodacom as it has been handed over, now where must I pay it into?
The R3000 is no longer available as I told her I want to pay it on the 16th. So I will not pay the R3000 as I no longer have it. I will make a payment end of October and thereafter. Its not my fault I did not receive any banking details.
Then I went back to Vodacom again on the 16th the afternoon. I spoke to the manager as I was told that the Manager at the store must lodge a dispute. She told me that she will phone me the following day (17th) and it will take up to 48hours to get feedback from head office. And I am still waiting
She logged into my account, the banking details was changed but in stead of Savings the consultant put in cheque. That is why is was not deducted from my account as Capitec does not have cheque accounts.
Now for every debit order that doesn't go through, Vodacom charges R100 - so of my balance R300 is for no debit order fee.
This is unacceptable as I am a good customer of Vodacom even my scoring is 7 on my account which is very high. And this is the service I get
My phone has been opened for prepaid only. Only when I pay the full balance they will unlock my minutes and data. Now who's fault is this?
I will pay as I did not get the mail from the lawyers or feedback from the manager at Vodacom Rustenburg Waterfall Mall. And if they want to get nasty I will pay them R50 per month.
