VODACOM *****
I've never been a customer of Vodacom and judging by the following events I've experienced I guarantee that I never will be!
It started at first where I noticed strange debit orders go off my bank account in small amounts and thereafter larger amounts by Vodacom. I reported it to FNB n it was reversed and blocked by FNB.I was informed by Fnb that there are many clients experiencing the same issue around this time.I was advised that they can reverse the random debit orders and block it. But that the *****sters keep changing reference numbers which means they can still debit the account in future. And those debits cant be blocked if the reference keeps changing.Fnb nonetheless assisted me and eventually the story went quiet.
After a few reversals the issue went away and some many months later i was contacted by a company called Alliance who were acting as debt collectors to pay a debt which was not mine. I explained the situation to them that I had not taken out any product or device or anything from Vodacom nor have I been their client.
I comp**** as they requested and provided them with my ID and information required as well as affidavit in order to resolve issue.
After receiving no feedback from Alliance I assumed the issue was finally resolved. But a few months later I was contacted by HP attorneys. Who not only only treated me like a ******** bt requested more information from me. It was only when i spoke to a manager after many days of attempting to get assistance that i was sent a form to complete.
Immediately after contact with HP attorneys i was debited again. I reversed the debit order of 3000 plus rands again.
I am extremely dissappointed in the fact that I have to be harassed and called by persons asking for money bt also that the issue moves from one company to the other every few months and i have to be ill treated for a debt that was never mine.
*****ulent activity has taken place and Vodacom is not assisting. It affected my credit score when i had to apply for a home loan.Vodacom keeps re instructing new entities to deal with debt collecting without even doing proper investigations. The investigations are pending since 2023.Placing demands on me to provide my personal information and signature on affidavits to prove that i am not in debt. They refuse to provide the contract which the *****sters signed and cannot explain why the debit orders were random, on different days with large excessive different amounts that any person can see is not normal.
I am extremely dissappointed and i can guarantee that i will never purchase anything from Vodacom in future. I reserve all my rights herein as Vodacom is now causing damages to my credit score without any just reason and this has negative implications on my records.
