Vodacare didnt insure my phone

<p>I inusured a phone with vodacom/vodacare- westgate shopping centre branch. The phone got damaged and i resquested vodacare to fix the, they advised the phone is not in a repairable state and decided to give me a new phone. I advised vodacare not to cancel my existing insurance and apply it on the newly issued device. The new device got damaged and i took it in in Sep 2016. I was informed by the repair centre (Cresta branch) that there is no insurance linked to my device therefore i will be liable for the amount to be paid for their services. </p>
