Vodabucks are useless

I emailed the vodabucks dept a few times apparently there is no direct number to it . I could get physical items for the vodabucks as a reward now a vodabucks store wants more bucks then Voda bucks what is the point of this vodabucks I saved seeing I could build up to get a decent item and as time went on its now cash .
