Vodabuck store insisting on returning my money for a purchase.
I placed an order on Black Friday which was promoted on the Vodabuck Store. I purchased a television using my card and the payment went through immediately. The payment had been showing pending for 6 days when I decided to call them and identify the problem.
I spoke to an agent who said they do not seem to have stock of the TV but I must know that they WILL NOT cancel my order , they will only cancel and refund me IF I request it.
I then received an SMS saying that the TV cannot be provided and I will receive a refund. I called another agent who told me they do not have stock and are refunding me.
How can you promote something and take my money only to inform me a week later that you will not honor the purchase? I do not want a refund for an item I paid for a week ago. There was absolutely no notice of a "While stocks last" clause when I purchased the TV .
If I knew I was not getting this TV, I missed out on a different Black Friday deal while you had my money in your account.
Please can you provide me with what I paid for.
In terms of your conditions, you state "no replacement is possible".
I would certainly argue that "out of stock" does not indicate "no replacement possible", but rather that you did not have the correct programming in place to stop selling units once the stock available had been replenished.
You are well and able to receive more stock to provide your customers with the purchase you promised them. I could have saved R2000 on a TV on Black Friday elsewhere but missed out on that from your negligence.
Just looking at the thread , it is apparent how many disgruntled you gained from refusing to honor your commitments.
I do not want my refund, I will wait for you to find a replacement in terms of your policy.
Kind regards

Either give my money back or respond to me about the TV being provided
This is borderline ******** , have some decency as a company.
Holding 500+ customer money for 2 weeks ? Shame on you
