VodaBAD

I entered the Vodacom shop in Cradlestone Mall on Saturday12/11/2016 afternoon to do a sim swop. After making me complete all the documents they tell me that I have to pay, I advised Maria that I have the Quicksim that I pay monthly on my account for the last over 12 years that I had my contract. She asks Charles to assist her and he tells her this says old and is not valid. I then proceed to log onto the Vodacom app to show them that I pay for this as a monthly service and it maybe "old" as I have had my number for over 12 years and it can't be invalid/expired as he claims as I pay for it monthly. I then rudely get stared at and I'm told to pay and phone ********** to claim it back from the Vodacom insurance as a credit on my account.

On Monday afternoon @13:47 I phoned the Vodacom insurance and I'm told that the Quicksim is still on my number and the shop should not have billed me I must get my money back from the shop.

I then phone the Vodacom in Cradlestone mall @13:55 ********** and speak to the same Charles that "helped" me on Saturday, he then discusses the matter with his manager Madeleine that told him the insurance should pay but if I want my money back I should come and get it at the store. I told Charles that on Saturday you made me pay and now you want me to drive up and down, can I give them the card details and they can process a refund on my credit card. He then tells me he will find out and phone me right back. Well needless to say I never received the call nor my money back as I'm now writing this review in frustration.

Vodacom is 1 company their various departments are not the customers problem I got charged for a sim card that I pay a insurance amount for every month. I want MY MONEY back without having to waste my petrol to get it.

This is shocking service as for a telecommunication company there is no communication.

I would like Vodacom to reimburse me my R89.00 I am not driving up and down due to incompetence or unwillingness to assist walk in customers.

Not satisfied customer

Erika
