Voda fibre

Ever since u put my trust in Vodacom fibre, I have been disappointed on many occasions. Just as Vodacom charges us penalties on late payments and charge extremely high amounts for every small increment in data speed and package packages, we expect the same when Vodacom is unable to provide the service that is payed for. I understand that sometimes there will be unexpected downtime due to maintenance and repair or upgrades. But Vodacom is continuously having break in transmission and throttling of lines with the pretext that the customer cannot be reimbursed due to the fact that the data line was not totally cut off. So if I pay R799 for a 20mb down and 5mb up load but only get a 3 mb download and kB upload , is it fair to say I should be so lucky to at least be receiving some data. Next time Vodacom wants to debit my account I will also throttle my bank and say Vodacom should be so lucky to at least receive some sort of partial payments. I don't think they would be so happy. All I am saying is , be fair, if you don't provide what is paid for then charge what was given pro rata. Reimburse customers respectfully and I am sure that could be calculated via resourceful software which would track and time stamp downtime per area . I definitely would not recommend Vodacom as an ISP, they are firstly expensive as compared to other ISP , unstable and unreliable lines, below satisfactory customer service as well as poor grade of hardware such as the troublesome routers.
