Voda CON strikes again

I attempted to upgrade my phone on 18 September online. Everything was confirmed, including an order number. After a week of no further info, I contacted Vodacom to follow up. They told me my order didn't exist on their system. After a week of back and forth, they contacted me and offered to push the deal through over the phone. The advertised deal is a Huawei Pura 80 pro with a Huawei Gt 5 GPS 46mm smart watch. After confirming all the details were correct, I received confirmation of my upgrade. Early in October I contacted again to follow up, and was told that the device was out of stock, but they would receive stock on October and courier both devices. After no further communication, I contacted Vodacom again to follow up and was told they will not supply the devices as advertised as they no longer keep stock of them and refuse to order more. No further explanation was given. This is false advertising to con people into signing up for a contract, then forcing you to choose a device you don't want as a consolation prize. Utterly disappointed in their pathetic service. Will be switching networks after 20 years of loyalty.
