VODA-CON - New contracts without signed confirmation
Seems complaining is the only way to get things done these days. So I have squared up my 36 month contract with vodacom and seems the cancellation process forever takes me to retentions. However I am on debt review for over a year; all I wanted was my contract concluded and ended. I havent evens signed for this new contract so am a bit confused. However I was offered the opportunity to still upgrade to a new device as I am an existing vodacom customer. To my stupidity even though I have the worst credit record ever. I was placed on a Sim only contract. The consultant re-assured me that with this I can upgrade to get a new device. Only to find out that I cant. Talk about a con just to keep me paying a contract for a number I dont evens have and not to mention a sim I never evens received.
I have called countless times and seems like evens AI has a better understanding to the generic programmed humans on the other side of the conversation.
I feel I have been cheated for one and I need that recording found with that Durban based consultant that assisted me and offered me the world.
With my initial contact in 2020 a quote was sent and signed digitally. With this one it was a telephonic communication I then got emailed a quote for signature which I didnt respond too and then called vodacom immediately but alas I got no where. How is this ethical.
I would really like assistance in this matter
